The current District Governors-elect
from each of the participating districts comprise the Board of Directors
of Pacific Northwest PETS and are the final authority for general PETS policy.
District Governors are responsible for the promotion of PETS during their club
visits throughout the year and they assist with the registration of Presidents-elect
in their district.
The actual preparation, organization, and execution of the
annual program is the responsibility of the PETS Operating Committee.
The District Governor-elect from each participating district
works closely with the Operating Committee to develop and administer the PETS
program and training. They conduct specific training sessions for Presidents-elect
in their district, they develop and approve the final PETS program, they select
and appoint workshop leaders and they work with their district trainers to develop
training materials and sessions.
