Q. Must I stay at the hotel since I live close, have friends close, want another hotel, etc.
We are sorry but this option is not available. In the early years of the Northwest Multi-district PETS program, the board decided that there would be no provision for independent lodging arrangements. This was based on several reasons. Due to the various locations of our districts there would be a wide variety of options selected and this would be very difficult to establish and administer. In addition, the price of the many meeting rooms that we use throughout the hotel is affected by the number of room nights that our attendees provide to the hotel. Finally, the program starts early in the morning with plenary meal sessions and conclude with evening networking and social events. Participation in these events is part of the program and history has shown that attendance is aided by people not having to leave early or arrive late.
As explained on the hotel page (and in several other locations on the web site) all hotel arrangements are made by the PETS committee. Any inquiries made to the hotel will be referred to the PETS Committee.
If you have any special requirements or want a particular roommate please note this on your registration form - use remarks. It would help to follow this up with an email to registrar@pnwrotarypets.org to ensure that your requests are known.
Q Are there provisions for special dietary requirements.
The hotel provides alternate meal provisions when required. Some alternate meals are prepared in advance. Since seating at the plenary sessions (meals) is open and seating is not assigned it is not possible to know where people with special needs are sitting. It is necessary to notify your table server of your special requirement.
Please note on your registration form - use remarks - any special needs so that a sufficient quantity can be prepared for each sitting. It would also help to send a backup email to facilities@pnwrotarypets.org so the Facilities Chair can insure sufficient meals are prepared.
Most likely you have requested a change to your registration (share to private room) (change arrival date)(etc) and the modification has not yet been processed. When the Registrar completes the processing of the change your modification entry will be changed to "hidden" and it will not be visible in your district list.

How can I change my registration?
How can I view the information in my registration?
There is a change section in the registration system. Select "registration" from the left column and then either "registration changes" or "update information" from the top menu list. You will enter with your last name and registration number. Make any changes that you desire and submit the information. There will be some information emails sent closer to PETS and it is important that your email address is correct.
If there is a charge or refund for your change, a credit card payment form will come up to process the monetary transaction (charge/refund).
Duplicate Registrati by Webmaster - 09/10/2006
Q. I received a note saying someone was already registered. What is going on???
Several years ago we had a problem with duplicate registration. In one case every time the District Governor went out with a group email telling everyone to register, one PE dutifully registered (each time). As a result he was registered (and charged) four times. To prevent this we established a system that checks to see if someone is already registered for each position from the same club. This prevents two Presidents-elect from the same club registering or one person from registering twice.
The duplicate rejection system also means that if someone else selected the wrong district or wrong club it could prevent you from registering. If you receive the message "Someone has registered for that position from that club" please send an email to registrar@pnwrotarypets.org and inform the registration office of the problem. Provide your name, position, club, district and your email address. The Registrar will resolve the problem and reply to you.
During registration process it will ask if you want a sepecial roommate and proved a link to the registrar to request your roommate (by name). It is not necessary for this person to be already registered. If they have not yet registered have them request you for a roommate on their registration when they register.
Please send an email to the Registrar (registrar@pnwrotarypets.org) with both names as a backup to your registration request.
Q. I am not sure that I am registered. How can I check?
You can find everyone who is registered from your district by looking at the reports section of the registration system.
Select "registration" from the left column and then "reports" from the top menu. You will enter with your last name and registration number (for example PE342). You will find the names of everyone that is registered. "Pending" in the right column means the registration is not complete. This is normally when a person has elected to pay by check and it has not been received or processed.
When you complete your registration and click the submit button confirming your registration information the system will immediately send a confirmation email to the address used during registration. The email is your indication that the registration was completed satisfactorily.
 Hotel - information by Webmaster - 28/04/2008
Q. Where is the hotel Q. Who makes hotel arrangements
There is information about the hotel in various places on the web page. Select "PETS Information" from the left column and then "hotel" from the top menu (or select the large red button in the upper right corner of the registration page). On the hotel page you will find information about the hotel, links to its web page, driving instructions. There is also information that the committee will make all arrangements with the hotel. All inquires to the hotel will be referred to PETS. If you have any special requirements or want a particular room mate please note this on your registration form - use remarks. Please confirm this request with an email to the registrar at registrar@pnwrotarypets.org.
Q. I have prePETS - should I select early arrival since we start on Thursday instead of Friday
Q. I am an Assistant Governor and my sessions start Thursday evening. Do I need to ask for early arrival.
Each registration is tailored to the requirements of the individual and the registration fees are based on these requirements. For the districts with PrePETS the registration is for a Thursday arrival so that PrePETS can begin as scheduled. Assistant Governor, District Governor, District Trainer, etc are based on a Thursday arrival to support the meetings and training sessions that occur on Thursday and Friday. It is not necessary to select early arrival unless desired for personal time.
Registration number by Webmaster - 28/04/2008
Q. What is a registration number - my registration number?
This is the number that was provided during your registration and automatically sent to you in a confirmation email immediately following your registration completion. It is a two letter code representing your registration category (PE, DG, DN, DE, AG, etc) and a number.
If you do not remember your number you can send an email to the Registrar and request that the confirmation email be resent.
