Rosemary Barker Aragon

Rosemary has a 3-year appointment as the Zone 25/26 Education Program Chair—working with the leadership of GETS, GNATS, the GOVERNORS’ Seminar, and the Partners Program. She was a GETS faculty member for 4 years, the GETS Administrative Chair, and chaired GNATS in 2006 and 2007. She was a Training Leader at the International Assembly in 2005 and 2006.

In 2009-2010 she will serve as the Zone 25 Public Image Resource Coordinator—and will bring a focus on targeted marketing. Rosemary served Rotary as the Zone 23 RRIMC (Rotary Membership Coordinator) for 2005-2008. Generational Diversity is a topic on which she has spoken and written widely. She addressed this topic at the 2007 and 2008 Rotary International Conventions, District Conferences, Multi-District PETS, 2007 Presidential Membership Conferences, and more.

Rosemary was the District 5030 District Foundation Chair for 2005-2007. She has written numerous matching grants.  In November 2002, she & Rotarian Ezra Teshome led a large NID team to Ethiopia. She was the Zone 23 Coordinator for the Health Concerns Task Force (2004-5) and the Zone 23 Water Resources Coordinator (2006-7). She is the recipient of the Rotary Foundation Certificate of Meritorious Service

Rosemary and her husband Luis are Bequest Society Members and Major Donors. She is a member of the District 5030 Paul Harris Society.

She is the Executive Director of the Pacific Hospital Preservation & Development Authority, a foundation whose mission is funding healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured.
